A Warhammer 40,000 Novel
The Emperor’s Children are back in the spotlight! Once a proud and terrifying Legion, they’ve spent far too long split into squabbling warbands, chasing glory across the galaxy. Now Fulgrim himself is calling them together again… and things are about to get loud.
Why You’ll Want to Read It
What starts as a “simple job” from Fulgrim quickly spirals into something much messier. If you enjoy larger-than-life Chaos characters, clashing egos, and a whole lot of internal backstabbing, this one’s for you. It’s Emperor’s Children at their most dramatic, arrogant, and gloriously dysfunctional.
The Story
Fulgrim – Daemon Primarch of the III Legion, perfection incarnate (at least in his own mind) – sets his sons a challenge: conquer the Imperial world of Crucible and bring him the head of the Black Templar leading its defence.
Easy, right? Not quite.
What should have been a fast, brutal victory turns into a grinding siege, with the planet burning and the Emperor’s Children fighting each other almost as much as the enemy. As the war drags on, loyalties crack, ambitions clash, and the Legion is forced to ask a dangerous question: how much are they willing to lose to earn Fulgrim’s favour… and what will still be standing when the dust settles?
