Marines this role is fulfilled by Intercessor Squads. Able to advance under fire, hold critical ground, or unleash
disciplined overlapping volleys, Intercessors form the tactical heart of many Chapters – from newly founded forces
to the most ancient brotherhoods of the Adeptus Astartes.
Clad in Mk X Tacticus armour, Intercessors balance protection and mobility with deadly firepower. Their bolt rifles
allow them to engage enemies at a variety of ranges, making them dependable infantry who can adapt to almost any
battlefield role.
