What is DragonPainter?

DragonPainter is a monthly curated miniature and paint subscription box. Each box contains paints, brushes, and instructions on how to paint the miniature to either core, tabletop or ultimate standard.

Who are your boxes suitable for?

Our boxes contain Reaper Bones Miniatures and Reaper Master Series Paints.

Reaper Master Series Paints are non-toxic and clean up easily with water. Reaper Bones Miniatures are made of plastic.

Due to small parts, our boxes are not suitable for small children. You should supervise your child at all times.

Where do you deliver?

Currently anywhere within the UK mainland. We hope to offer our service within the European Union in time.

What is the cut off date for orders?

The cut off for placing your order is around the 28th of each month. Please check the page of the subscription box you wish to purchase for details.

When will my box arrive?

Boxes, and any additional purchases, are sent on the 10th of each month via Royal Mail 2nd class postage. You should receive your box two days later.

What do I do if my box hasn’t arrived?

If your box hasn’t arrived by 17th of the month, please contact us so that we can rectify the situation.

I’m not sure if I want to subscribe, can I pay for the first month whilst I make up my mind?

That's fine, you can make a one off purchase of a box. Your box will be sent on the 10th of each month when our subscription boxes are posted.

I would like to upgrade / downgrade my subscription

You can switch your subscription (upgrade or downgrade) from within your account page under the subscriptions tab. Switches take effect on your next renewal date. Your renewal date will remain the same.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Mini painting is a great hobby, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.  If you decide to end your subscription, you can do so from your account page, or by sending an email to hello@dragonpainter.com asking to end your subscription. If you choose to come back at any time, you’ll need to re-subscribe.

I’m concerned about my data, do you store it safely?

Any information that we request is necessary in order to process your subscription or purchase.  Your data is held securely. Please see our privacy policy.

My box is faulty, what do I do?

We're really sorry about that. We work hard to ensure that every box that leaves us is pefect, but sometimes things go wrong.

If you would like to return your faulty items, please contact us by sending an email to hello@dragonpainter.com within 30 days of receiving your items. We will send you a free returns label and exchange your items.

How do returns work?

If your box is not faulty, and you choose to return your box, you have 30 days to do so. Please email hello@dragonpainter.com.  Provided the box and items inside remain in a saleable condition (the condition you received them), we’ll be happy to offer a full refund, minus any postage.

In the case of subscription boxes, the returns policy only applies to the first box your receive, as per distance selling rules.

I already have this mini, can I swap it?

Unfortunately, no. DragonPainter is a curated miniature and paint box with tutorial. However, a selection of miniatures will be available in our shop soon.

As a DragonPainter subscriber you will receive a discount on items in our shop.

I already have this paint, can I swap?

In the box we include all the paints you need to paint your mini. However, as you build your collection, you may find yourself with duplicates.

If there is a paint in your subscription box that you do not want, please let us know before we ship your box. We will credit you £1.60 per paint. This credit can be redeemed through our online store and is valid for as long as you remain a DragonPainter subscriber. You can contact us by sending an email to hello@dragonpainter.com, or by messaging us on Facebook.

This credit expires when you cease to be a DragonPainter subscriber. This credit cannot be exchanged for cash / money and cannot be used with any other offer.

There are some previous boxes that I would like. Can I purchase them?

Of course! Simply head to our store and choose the box you’d like to purchase. 

I'm a subscriber. Can I have my additional shop purchases shipped with my subscription box?

Yes. If you choose 'Ship with my subscription Box' at the checkout, your items will be shipped with your subscription box.

How does free shipping over £29 work?

Free shipping is simple - spend over £29 (after any discounts/coupons have been applied) to receive free shipping.

I'm a subscriber. When is my subscription payment taken?

Your debit/credit card is charged monthly on the day (or just after) that you signed up. Should your payment fail, we will retry until the payment is taken.

Your card information and subscription payments are managed securely by Stripe. We do not store your debt/credit card information.

Can I change my payment date?

Yes. Please send and email to hello@dragonpainter.com with your preferred payment date.
